DAY 1 | DEPARTURE
Depart for your overnight flight to Germany, meals will be served on board.
DAY 2 | BERLIN ARRIVAL
Arrival at Berlin airport where we will meet and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overlight in Berlin. (D)
DAY 3 | BERLIN
After breakfast, meet with local guide for a full day city tour. Visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, remnants of the former city wall, St. Hedwig’s Church, the State Opera House, St. Mary’s Church, and the Brandenburg Gate, Check point Charlie. Lunch is on your own. After, we’ll visit Bonhoeffer House followed by dinner and overnite at your hotel in Berlin. (B,D)
DAY 4 | BERLIN – WITTENBERG – LEIPZIG
Check-out and depart to Leipzig after breakfast at your hotel. We’ll stop in Wittenberg to visit All Saints Castle Church, see the university where Luther taught, and visit Melanchthon’s and Luther House. After, we’ll visit Stadtkirche of St. Marien and the Luther monmument. Following lunch, we will continue to Leipzig and conclude our sightseeing at St. Thomas Church and view the Renaissance Town Hall. Finally, we will check-in to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Leipzig. (B,D)
DAY 5 | LEIPZIG – EISLEBEN – ERFURT
We’ll have breakfast and check-out of the hotel, then travel to Eisleben. During the guided city tour, we will visit where he was born and later died; St. Andrew’s Church where he was laid out, the Church of St. Peter and Paul where he was christened, and the Luther Monument. We will have leisure time at the marketplace. Following lunch on your own, we will drive through the Thuringian countryside to Erfurt. Our tour in Luther’s footsteps will include a visit to the Cathedral and Church of St. Severi’s and a view of the Kramer Bridge. Dinner and overnight in Erfurt. (B,D)
DAY 6 | ERFURT – WARTBURG – EISENACH – ERFURT
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a trip to Wartburg Castle where we will see the “Luther Stube”. Lunch is on your own, followed by a short drive to Eisenach – birth place of Johan Sebastian Bach. We will visit to listen to some of his music played on historical instruments. After, we will visit the Luther House Museum. Return to Erfurt for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
DAY 7 | ERFURT – NUREMBERG – AUGSBURG
Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Nuremburg for a tour of the city where we will see the old fortifications and enjoy the view of the pointed gable housetops and tall church spires from the castle. Lunch is on your own, followed by a drive to Augusburg. Check-in, dinner and
overnite in Augsburg. (B,D)
DAY 8 | AUGSBURG – WORMS – FRANKFURT
After breakfast, we’ll check-out and drive to Worms, the oldest city in Germany. After lunch we’ll join our local guide for a tour of the city to see the Monument fo the Reformation and visit the Cathedral. Dinner and overnite in Frankfur. (B,D)
DAY 9 | FRANKFURT
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we embark on a city walk through the old town centre (Romerberg), visit the Cathedral, and St. Paul’s Church. Lunch is on your own, followed by an afternoon at your leisure. Dinner and overnite in Frankfurt. (B,D)
DAY 10 | FRANKFURT DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. After we check-out, transfer to the airport. Departures are according
to your flight schedule. (B)
