About this Pilgrimage

Day 1 | Departure
Depart for your overnight flight to Egypt. Meals will be served on board.

Day 2 | Arrival
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3 | Cairo Exploration
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning Visit: The Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx at the Giza Plateau. Afternoon Visit: The Grand Egyptian Museum (the largest museum in the world). Evening: Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4 | Cairo Churches
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit Old Cairo churches, including St. Sergio, where the Holy Family stayed. Visit the hanging church. Next, visit St. Mark’s Cathedral, where the relics of St. Mark are preserved. Visit St. Simeon’s monastery, which is carved in the mountain. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 5 | Fly to Aswan & Cruise Embarkation
Breakfast at the hotel. Fly to Aswan (flight duration is approximately 1.5 hours). Upon Arrival: Embark on your Nile Cruise before lunch. Afternoon Visit: The High Dam, the unfinished obelisk, and Philae Temple. Evening: Dinner on board and overnight stay.

Day 6 | Kom Ombo & Sail to Edfu
Breakfast on board. Morning Visit: Sail to Kom Ombo and explore Kom Ombo Temple. Afternoon: Return to the cruise for lunch and relax on board. Evening: Overnight on board.

Day 7 | Edfu Temple & Sail to Luxor
Breakfast on board. Morning Visit: Enjoy a carriage ride to visit Edfu Temple. Afternoon: Sail towards Luxor, arriving in the afternoon. Evening Visit: Luxor Temple, lit up beautifully at night. Overnight on board.

Day 8 | Luxor Highlights & Return to Cairo
Disembarkation after breakfast. Morning Visit: Explore the Valley of the Kings, home to three colorful tombs of royal kings. Visit: The Queen Hatshepsut Temple and Karnak Temple. Afternoon: Fly back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 9 | Day trip to Alexandria
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit Wadi El Natrun’s ancient monasteries, a holy site of the Holy Family. Visit the Monastery of St. Macarius. Next, visit St. Bishoy. Continue to Alexandria. Overnight in Alexandria.

Day 10 | Alexandria to Cairo
Breakfast in Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt, founded by Alexander the Great. Visit the Famous library. Enjoy a seafood lunch by the Mediterranean Sea. Next, visit St. Mark’s Cathedral and St. Catherine’s church, where the relics of St. Sabina are preserved in wax. Drive back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 11| Departure
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure, or take the optional extension.
