Day 1 – DEPARTURE TO PORTUGAL

Depart for your overnight flight to Lisbon, meals served on board.

DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

You will be welcomed by your tour escort and driver before our transfer to the hotel in Lisbon. check-in, dinner and overnight. (D)

DAY 3 – LISBON – SANTAREM _ FATIMA

After breakfast and check out, we will enjoy a walking guided tour of Lisbon, starting at Alfama quarter, Cathedral, St Anthony church marking the birthplace of St Anthony of Padua where we celebrate mass. Precede along the Praca do Comercio, passing Rua Augusta toward Rossio Square medieval market. We will also visit FATIMA WITHIN LISBON at Rua de Estrela where St Jacinta lived her last days at the orphanage of Our Lady of the Miracles where Jacinta reported that she had many apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

On to visit Belem Quarter (exterior view), Monastery of St Jeronimos. Independent Lunch. After, we will drive to Fatima en route stopping at Santarem visiting the Sanctuary if the Eucharistic miracle. The relic is venerated at Church of St Stephen in the historical center of the town. Time for prayer and reflections. Upon arrival Fatima check in. dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 4 – FATIMA

Today we visit the Fatima to include Chapel of Apparition where Our Lady first appeared to the children, Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary where we can visit the tombs of St Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, Basilica of Holy Trinity, Way of the cross. Mass at the Shrine. Proceed to Visit the church of St Anthony where the children were baptized. On to visit Ajustrel seeing the homes of the children an Arneiro well where the Angel of Peace appeared to the children in 1916. on to Valinhos seeing the small chapel that marks the location of the fourth apparition of Our Lady. Lunch on your own followed by free time for personal meditation, prayers and shopping. After dinner, we join the nightly candlelight procession. (B,D)

DAY 5 – FATIMA – GUADALUPE 

In the morning, we depart Fatima & Portugal to Spain. Lunch on your own. Visit the Royal Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe one of the most important Shrines in Spain, hearing that incredible story about the miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary. Before the statute Christopher Columbus prayed when he was commissioned by Queen Isabel to explore the oceans leading to America brining the devotion of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Mexico. The Virgin Mary appeared to St John of God and told him to work for the poor. Mass at the Shrine. check in. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 6 – GUADALUPE – AVILA – SALAMANCA

In the morning, we depart to Avila. Lunch on your own. The atmosphere of Ávila surrounded by the 11th century walls did not change so much since the time of Santa Teresa, the first woman to be named Doctor of the Church and to whom the city is dedicated. We celebrate mass at the church marking the birthplace of St Teresa of Jesus, ten visit the Cathedral, “Convento de la Encarnación” where Saint Teresa became a nun and is now the most complete museum dedicated to her life, the Monastery, built on the site of the house where Teresa was born, and the Convent of “San Jose” the first that she founded. Proceed to Salamanca. check in. dinner & overnight (B,D)

DAY 7 – SALAMANCA

After breakfast we visit Salamanca considered by many to be the Spanish Renaissance city par excellence, it makes for a unique setting, both for its architectural and urban beauty which has survived the test of time. Its most known for its university that is considered to be oldest in Spain. Our walking tour will include; grand plaza mayor, La Casa de las Conchas decorated with shells that Symbolize the famous el Camino, the Roman Bridge, Church of St Marcos, Church of St Martin de Porres the patron Saint of the city and the Salamanca Cathedral. Mass. Lunch on your own. Some time at leisure. dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 8 – SALMANCA –  SANTO DOMINGO DE SILOS – BURGOS

In the morning after check-out we depart for Burgos. This afternoon we visit the Monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos, main shrine dedicated to St Dominic who was born in the town of Calerguega not far away.  The monastery, of Visigoth origin, was razed to the ground by the Arabs, and rebuilt by Santo Domingo, whose remains lie in a sarcophagus that was carved on the rock. Its sensational Romanesque cloister, whose most important storey is the bottom one, dates from the 11th and 12th centuries, and has beautiful capitals, with varied sculptures depicting a variety of themes. Mass. Independent Lunch.  On to Burgos visiting the Cathedral with its 15 stunning chapels to include St Enrique with the Ecce Homo Statute. The Cathedral is the only one in Spain that is on UNESCO list not being part of a historical old town center. Check in. dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 9 – BURGOS – LOYOLA – LOURDES

In the morning after check-out, we depart to Loyola to visit the birthplace of St. Ignatius, founder of the Jesuit Order. St. Ignatius dedicated himself to becoming a soldier of the Christian faith, he wrote the ever-famous Spiritual Exercises. In Loyola, you will see the 17th-century Basilica dedicated to this remarkable saint. Mass at the Shrine. Lunch on your own. Precede to Lourdes where we will spend the next two nights. Upon arrival in Lourdes. check-in. dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 10 – LOURDES

As we wake up to the serene waters and quaint community of Lourdes, we visit the historical and spiritual sites associated with the visionary child Bernadette (entrance included). We begin at the Grotto of the Apparitions, and then continue on a guided walking tour visiting the Basilica of St. Pius X, Boly Mill, Soubirous family home, the Basilica of the Rosary, the miraculous spring and the healing baths. Celebrate Mass. After dinner, we will have the chance to join in the and candlelight procession. (B,D)

DAY 11 – Departure from Toulouse airport

Transfer to Toulouse International Airport.
