Day 1 – USA ✈ LISBON
Depart from the USA on your overnight flight to Lisbon, Portugal. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.
Day 2 – ARRIVAL IN LISBON, PORTUGAL
Upon arrival in Lisbon, meet your tour escort and driver. Begin with a panoramic introduction to the city, including St. Jerome’s Monastery, Tower of Belém, and Christ of Lisbon. Visit St. Anthony’s Church, marking the birthplace of St. Anthony of Padua, and celebrate Mass. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 3 – LISBON → SANTARÉM → FÁTIMA
After breakfast, depart Lisbon for Santarém to venerate the Eucharistic Miracle at the Church of St. Stephen. Continue to Fátima and check into the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. Celebrate Mass at the Shrine. After dinner, join the Rosary and Candlelight Procession. (B,D)
Day 4 – FÁTIMA
Today we follow the footsteps of the visionaries. Visit Aljustrel and Valinhos, homes of the shepherd children, and Loca do Cabeço, site of the Angel’s apparition. Walk the Stations of the Cross (Via Crucis) along this sacred path. Visit the Parish Church of Fátima, where the children were baptized. Afternoon free for personal devotion, prayer, or confessions. Dinner at the hotel, followed by the Candlelight Procession. (B,D)
Day 5 – FÁTIMA → COIMBRA → BRAGA → SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Depart Fátima for Coimbra, where Sister Lucia lived in the Carmelite convent. Visit the Monastery of St. Teresa and celebrate Mass. Continue to Braga, where we visit the sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte with its spectacular baroque stairway. Proceed to Santiago de Compostela, a key destination of the Camino pilgrimage route. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 6 – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Santiago’s Old Town. Visit the Cathedral of St. James, the Apostle’s tomb, and the Portico de la Gloria. Attend the Pilgrim’s Mass (with the Botafumeiro if available). Afternoon at leisure for personal reflection, optional short walks, or shopping. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 7 – SANTIAGO → BURGOS → LOYOLA → SAN SEBASTIÁN
Today we journey east across northern Spain. Stop in Burgos to admire its majestic Gothic Cathedral, and celebrate Mass. Continue to Loyola, birthplace of St. Ignatius, founder of the Jesuits, and visit his Sanctuary. Proceed to San Sebastián, one of Spain’s most charming seaside cities. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 8 – SAN SEBASTIÁN → LOURDES (FRANCE)
After breakfast, cross the Pyrenees into France and arrive in Lourdes by early afternoon. Visit the Grotto of Massabielle, where Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette, and celebrate Mass. Evening Rosary and Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (B,D)
Day 9 – LOURDES
Spend a full day in Lourdes. Begin with a guided walking tour: Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Basilica of the Rosary, Boly Mill (St. Bernadette’s birthplace), The Cachot, and her Parish Church. Afternoon free for prayer, confessions, or optional immersion in the healing baths. Dinner, followed by the Rosary and Candlelight Procession. (B,D)
Day 10 – LOURDES → ZARAGOZA → MONTSERRAT → BARCELONA
After breakfast, depart Lourdes and drive to Zaragoza, home of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, the first Marian shrine in Christian tradition. Celebrate Mass and continue to Montserrat, the mountain monastery of the Black Madonna (La Moreneta). Visit the Abbey of Santa Maria and enjoy spectacular views. Continue on to Barcelona for hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight. (B,D)
Day 11 – BARCELONA
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Barcelona, including Gaudí’s Sagrada Família (entrance included), Park Güell, and the Gothic Quarter. Visit Barcelona Cathedral for Mass. Afternoon free for personal exploration or shopping. Farewell dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 12 – BARCELONA ✈ USA
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home, carrying the blessings of this pilgrimage through Portugal, Spain, and France. (B)
