SEP 07 – Day 1: Departure
Depart for your overnight to Cairo. Meals will be served on board.
SEP 08 – Day 2: Arrival / Hotel Check-in
Arrive at Cairo Airport. Meet and assist, then transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
SEP 09 – Day 3: Pyramids / Grand Museum
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx at the Giza Plateau, considered one of the few remaining Seven Wonders of the World. Next, visit the Grand Museum, the largest museum in the world. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
SEP 10 – Day 4: St. Mark’s Cathedral / St. Joseph / Old Cairo / St. Simon Monastery
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit the Cathedral of St. Mark. Visit St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and St. Simon’s Monastery, which is carved into the mountain in Garbage City. Visit the Old Churches of Cairo, including St. Sergius (where the Holy Family lodged) and St. George Church. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
SEP 11 – Day 5: Cairo / Aswan / Cruise
Embark on the cruise before lunch. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple, which was reassembled on an island. Overnight on board.
SEP 12 – Day 6: Kom Ombo / Edfu
Breakfast on board. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Kom Ombo Temple. Next, sail to Edfu. Overnight on board.
SEP 13 – Day 7: Edfu / Luxor
Breakfast on board. Visit Edfu Temple using a carriage ride. Sail to Luxor. In the evening, visit Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night. Overnight on board.
SEP 14 – Day 8: Luxor / Cairo
Disembark after breakfast. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will have the chance to admire three colorful tombs of ancient Egyptian kings. Next, visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, followed by Karnak Temple. Fly to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
SEP 15 – Day 9: Cairo / Wadi El Natrun / Alexandria
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Drive to the Wadi El Natrun monasteries, a site connected with the Holy Family. Visit St. Macarius Monastery, St. Bishoy’s Monastery, the Syrian Monastery, and St. Baramus Monastery. Continue to Alexandria, the second-largest city in Egypt, founded by Alexander the Great. Dinner by the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight in Alexandria.
SEP 16 – Day 10: Alexandria / St. Catherine’s Church / St. Mark’s Cathedral / Cairo
Breakfast in Alexandria. Visit St. Catherine’s Church, where the relics of St. Sabina are preserved in wax and displayed to visiting pilgrims. Next, visit St. Mark’s Cathedral, the seat of the Pope of Alexandria and the traditional site of Christianity’s arrival in Egypt. Drive to St. Mina’s Monastery, located in the western desert near Alexandria—a pilgrimage site dating to the 7th century. Drive back to Cairo (3 hours). Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
SEP 17 – Day 11: Departure
Departure after breakfast.

SEP 17 – Day 11: Cairo / Exodus Route / St. Catherine
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit St. Mary’s Church in Zeitoun, where the Virgin appeared in 1968. Drive to St. Catherine. Dinner and overnight in St. Catherine.
SEP 18 – Day 12: Moses Mountain / Burning Bush / Sharm El Sheikh
Early morning, climb Moses Mountain (optional). This is the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Descend for breakfast at the hotel. Visit St. Catherine’s Monastery and view the Burning Bush, where God spoke to Moses. Drive to Sharm El Sheikh (approximately 2 hrs 30 mins). The rest of the day is free to enjoy the Red Sea shore. Dinner and overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.
SEP 19 – Day 13: Sharm El Sheikh
Free day in Sharm El Sheikh to enjoy the Red Sea shore. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.
SEP 20 – Day 14: Sharm El Sheikh / Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
