Day 1: DEPARTURE
Depart for your overnight flight to Italy. Meals will be served on board.
DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN LISBON, PORTUGAL
You will be welcomed by your tour escort and driver before our transfer to the hotel in Lisbon for check-in, dinner and overnight. (D)
DAY 3 – LISBON – SANTAREM _ FATIMA
After breakfast and check out, we will enjoy a walking guided tour of Lisbon, starting at Alfama quarter, Cathedral, St Anthony church marking the birthplace of St Anthony of Padua where we celebrate mass. Precede along the Praca do Comercio, passing Rua Augusta toward Rossio Square medieval market. On to visit Belem Quarter (exterior view), Monastery of St Jeronimos. Independent Lunch. After, we will drive to Fatima en route stopping at Santarem visiting the Sanctuary if the Eucharistic miracle. The relic is venerated at Church of St Stephen in the historical center of the town. Time for prayer and reflections. Upon arrival Fatima check in, have dinner and overnight. (B,D)
DAY 4 – FATIMA
Today we visit the Fatima to include Chapel of Apparition where Our Lady first appeared to the children, Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary where we can visit the tombs of St Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, Basilica of Holy Trinity, Way of the cross. Mass at the Shrine. Proceed to Visit the church of St Anthony where the children were baptized. On to visit Ajustrel seeing the homes of the children an Arneiro well where the Angel of Peace appeared to the children in 1916. on to Valinhos seeing the small chapel that marks the location of the fourth apparition of Our Lady. Lunch on your own followed by free time for personal meditation, prayers and shopping. After dinner, we join the nightly candlelight procession. (B,D)
DAY 5 – FATIMA – PORTO – SANTIAGO
In the morning, we depart Fatima for Santiago. On the way, we visit Porto for a short panoramic tour o Portugal 2nd largest city, We will celebrate mass at the church of St Francisco. Lunch on your own. Precede to Santiago following the Portuguese El Camino reaching the city of Santiago de Compostela. check in. dinner and overnight. (B,D)
DAY 6 – MONTE GOZO – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
In the morning, we will visit Monte Gozo which marks the last 3 kilometers of the el Camino. Optional to walk the last few kilometers of El Camino. We will tour of the historical center of Santiago to include a guided tour of the Cathedral to include the crypt holding the relics of St James the Apostle and Porto de Gloria. Celebrate mass at the Cathedral. Lunch on your own. Afternoon at leisure. dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,D)
DAY 7 – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – OVIEDO – SANTA EULALIA DE VIGIL
Check out of hotel, depart for Oviedo which is the starting point of the Camino Primitivo to Santiago (the original way). There is a saying that illustrates the traditional importance of Oviedo as a pilgrimage destination: ‘Quien va a Santiago y no al Salvador, visita al criado pero no a su Señor’, meaning ‘Those who go to Santiago and not to Salvador (Oviedo), visit the servant (St James Apostle) and not the Lord (Jesus Christ)’. In Oviedo we visit the 9th century Cathedral
Holy Chamber is a UNESCO-listed monument and homes its most important relic: the Holy Shroud of Oviedo (Santo Sudario). The shroud is believed to have covered the face of Jesus after his crucifixion. Mass at the Cathedral. Lunch on your own. Depart for Santa Eulalia de Vigil and spend afternoon at the Village.

DAY 8 – SANTA EULALIA DE VIGIL – SALAMANCA – AVILA
In the morning after check-out, we depart to Salamanca. Lunch on your own. This afternoon visit Salamanca considered by many to be the Spanish Renaissance city par excellence, it makes for a unique setting, both for its architectural and urban beauty which has survived the test of time. Its most known for its university that is considered to be oldest in Spain. Our walking tour will include; grand plaza mayor, La Casa de las Conchas decorated with shells that Symbolize the famous el Camino, the Roman Bridge, Church of St Marcos, Church of St Martin de Porres the patron Saint of the city and the Salamanca Cathedral. Mass. Depart for Avila
check-in. dinner and overnight. (B,D)
DAY 9 – AVILA – MADRID
After breakfast and check out. The atmosphere of Ávila surrounded by the 11th century walls did not change so much since the time of Santa Teresa, the first woman to be named Doctor of the Church and to whom the city is dedicated. During our visit to Ávila we will see the Cathedral, visit Basilica of St Vicente which stands at the martyrdom of St Vicente. Visit the “Convento de la Encarnación” (Mass). where Saint Teresa became a nun and is now the most complete museum dedicated to her life. We will also visit the Monastery, built on the site of the house where Teresa was born, and the Convent of “San Jose” the first that she founded. Lunch on your own with some free time. Depart for Madrid. Arrival Madrid check into your hotel .Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Madrid. (B,D)
DAY 10 – MADRID
After Breakfast. We will enjoy a tour of Madrid to include the church of St. Jerome the Royal, nearby Retiro park, St Francis Grande Church, Al Mudena Cathedral, See the Royal Palace (outside view) , Plaza Mayor and Puerta de Sol. Lunch on your own. Rest of the day at leisure. dinner and overnight. (B,D)
DAY 11 – DEPARTURE FROM MADRID AIRPORT
Transfer to Madrid International Airport.
