Day 1: Monday | Sept 15: Departure – Italy
Depart for your overnight flight to Italy. Meals will be served on board.

Day 2: Tuesday | Sept 16: Arrival Rome – Assisi
Arrive at Rome International Airport and meet our professional English-speaking tour escort. Board the coach transfer to the hotel in Assisi. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Dinner and Overnight at hotel in Assisi (D)

Day 3: Wednesday | Sept 17: Assisi – Loreto – San Giovani
After breakfast, our walking guided tour departs from Santa Chiara Church that honors St. Clare, the foundress of the Poor Clare Sisters. This Saint followed the teachings of St. Francis very closely by also living a life of poverty and humility. From there, we will continue with a walking tour through this picturesque town, including the birthplace of St. Francis, and finally we will visit St. Francis Basilica (entrance included). In the upper basilica, we will marvel at the site of the great frescoes from Giotto, which describes the life of St Francis, in the lower basilica we visit the tomb of St. Francis. Celebrate Mass. Depart for Loretto. Lunch on your own.
Visit the Holy House of Nazareth. Tradition holds that this is the house in which Mary first prayed the Magnificat, in which Jesus grew to manhood, and in which the Holy Family lived, before it was transported several times by angels, to its current location. On to San Giovanni Rotondo. Dinner and Overnight San Giovanni (B,D)

Day 4: Thursday | Sept 18: San Giovani – Rome – Visit St. Paul Basilica
After breakfast, we begin with Mass at the Church of Santa Marie delle Grazie and visit Padre Pio’s tomb. On to visit the ancient church where Fr. Pio received the Stigmata. Depart for Rome. Lunch on your own en route. This afternoon we visit the Basilica of St Paul outside the walls, marking the burial place of the Martyred Saint. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 5: Friday | Sept 19: Rome
After breakfast, we will start the day with a visit to the Basilica of St Mary Major, which is one of the oldest and most important shrines in the world dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. On to visit the Archbasilica of St John in Lateran, the oldest and the highest-ranking of the four major Basilicas of Rome, that serves as the Cathedral of Rome. Mass. Lunch on your own.
Next you will visit the Vatican Museum (entrance included), where you can see the Tapestry Gallery, Raphael Rooms, and Sistine Chapel (entrance included) followed with guided tour of the St. Peter`s Basilica (entrance included) built on the site where St. Peter the Apostle was martyred. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to view Michelangelo’s Pieta sculpture, pray at the tombs of Pope Benedict XVI and St. John Paul II. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Rome (B,D)

Day 6: Saturday | Sep 20: Rome HD tour – late afternoon transfer to airport for our flight to Barcelona
Breakfast and Check out. Mass at local church. Transfer to Rome Airport for your flight to Barcelona.
Upon arrival, meeting with your tour escort and driver and transfer to your hotel. Check in. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 7: Sunday | Sept 21: Barcelona
We will have a panoramic tour of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia in Spain, a vibrant and culturally rich city with a plethora of attractions and activities. We will visit the interiors of the Sagrada Familia (entrance included), Montjuic, stroll along Paseig de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya, Barrio Gotico, Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona’s Cathedral (entrance included) where we celebrate mass. Lunch on your own and rest of the day at leisure enjoying Barcelona vibrant streets. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,D)

Day 8: Monday | Sept 22: Barcelona – Zaragoza
After breakfast and check out, we will drive to Zaragoza. We will visit the city center and Our Lady of the Pilar. The Basilica venerates Blessed Virgin Mary commemorating Her miraculous apparition to St James the Apostle, under her title Our Lady of the Pillar praised as “Mother of the Hispanic Peoples” by Pope John Paul II. Mass. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 9: Tuesday | Sept 23: Zaragoza – Burgos – Leon
This morning, we depart for Burgos visiting the Cathedral (entrance included) with its 15 stunning chapels to include St Enrique with the Ecce Homo Statute. The Cathedral is the only one in Spain that is on the UNESCO list not being part of a historical old town center. Mass. Lunch on your own. Proceed to Leon. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight Leon. (B,D)

Day 10: Wednesday | Sept 24: Leon – Santiago de Compostela
Breakfast and check out. This morning, explore Leon seeing the 13th century Cathedral (entrance included), with its soaring towers, flying buttresses and breathtaking interiors. On to visit the Real Basilica de San Isidoro. The church is dedicated to Saint Isidore of Seville, the stunning Pantheon Real houses royal sarcophagi, which rest with quiet dignity beneath a canopy of some of the finest Romanesque frescos in Spain. Colorful motifs of biblical scenes drench the vaults and arches of this extraordinary hall, held aloft by marble columns with intricately carved capitals. Mass. Depart for Santiago de Compostela. Lunch on your own en route. This afternoon, a guided visit of Santiago to include the Cathedral of St James (entrance included). Check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 11: Thursday | Sept 25: Santiago de Compostela – Fatima
Breakfast and check out. This morning we join the Pilgrims’ mass at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela followed by some free time in the old town. Lunch on your own. Depart for Fatima. Arrival Fatima and check in (B,D)

Day 12: Friday | Sept 26: Fatima
Today we visit Fatima to include the Chapel of Apparition where Our Lady first appeared to the children, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary where we can visit the tombs of St Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco, the Basilica of Holy Trinity, the Way of the Cross. Mass at the Shrine (subject to confirmation). Proceed to visit the church of St Anthony where the children were baptized. On to visit Ajustrel seeing the homes of the children an Arneiro well where the Angel of Peace appeared to the children in 1916. on to Valinhos, seeing the small chapel that marks the location of the fourth apparition of Our Lady. Lunch on your own followed by free time for personal meditation, prayers and shopping. After dinner, we join the nightly candlelight procession. (B,D)

Day 13: Saturday | Sept 27: Departure from Lisbon airport
Transfer to Lisbon airport for your departure flight.
