Day 1:  Departure from Atlanta

• Depart for your overnight flights to the Holy Land.

Day 2:  Arrive in Tel Aviv, Transfer to Tiberius.

• Arrive in Tel Aviv, meet your guide, and transfer to Tiberius.
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tiberius.

Day 3:  Nazareth, Mount Tabor.

• Nazareth, visiting the Basilica of the Annunciation (Celebrate a Mass), St. Joseph’s Church, and Mary’s well.
• Cana of Galilee.
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tiberius.

Day 4:  Sea of Galilee

• Mount Tabor.
• Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the fishes and the loaves. (Celebrate a Mass)
• The Mount of Beatitudes for a time of prayer and reflection.
• Enjoy a meal of “St. Peter’s fish” and a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tiberius.

Day 5:  Sea of Galilee 

• Caesarea Philippi.
• Capernaum (Celebrate a Mass)
• Peter’s Primacy.
• Jordan River
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tiberius.

Day 6:  Cana of Galilee, Ein Karem, Emmaus              

• Mount Carmel. (Celebrate a Mass).
• Caesarea Maritime
• Depart to Jerusalem via Coastal Plains
• Ein Karem.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 7:  Dead Sea, Jericho, Bethany

• Bethany, Lazarus tomb. (Celebrate a Mass)
• Qumran, site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls
• Baptism site (Jordan River).
• Visit Jericho, Zacchaeus tree old city and view mount of Temptation.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 8:   Bethlehem– Shepherd’ field

• Shepherd’s Field in Beit Sahour.
• The Church of the Nativity. (Celebrate a Mass).
• Catherine church, the Grotto of St. Jerome, Milk Grotto.
• The old city of Bethlehem.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 9:   Mt of Olives, Gethsemane

• Panoramic view from the top of Mount of Olives.
• Ascension Hill on the Mount of Olives.
• The Church of Pater Noster.
• The Church of Dominus Flevit.
• The Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. (Celebrate a Mass).
• Zion and the Cenacle (Upper Room).
• Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 10:  Via Dolorosa, Holy Sepulcher

• The Western Wall.
• Anne’s Church, the Pools of Bethesda.
• Walk the Via Dolorosa ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. (Celebrate a Mass).
• Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 11: Departure

• Departure for the airport for your flight home or take the optional extension to Egypt.

Day 11:  Egypt

Crossing Egypt at the Red Sea border town of Taba. Transfer to St. Catherine overnight.

Day 12:   St. Catherine, Cairo.

Optional camel ride and climb up Mount Sinai in the early morning then after the breakfast a full-day tour of the Mt. Sinai area including St. Catherine’s Monastery, seeing the Well of Jethro and visiting the monastery, which was built in the sixth century at the same site of the burning bush where Moses beheld the miracle and heard God tell him to lead Israel out of bondage, drive to Cairo through the wilderness of Sin (manna). Enroute visit the Spring of Marah. Arrive in Cairo and transfer to the hotel for relaxing and overnight

Day 13:  Pyramids – Egyptian Museum.

After breakfast enjoys a sightseeing journey. Visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, that large statue that is one of the most famous monuments in the world then visit the Egyptian Museum where we’ll find the greatest Collections of Egyptian antiquities in the world. It is also the home of King Tut treasures

Day 14:   Alexandria.

After breakfast, drive to the city of Alexandria, discover Alexandria’s ancient history, and explore the mixing of Egypt with its Greek and Roman past.

Day 15:    Departure.

Departure from the airport for your flight home.  We will arrive on the same day.
